Marosvasarhely / Targu Mures is the capital of the Sekler art, industry, trade, transport, education and culture. Our hotel is easy to find as it is located on the E60 which is the main road. In the yard of the hotel you will find a small rockery. Also in the yard, there is a garden where spices are grown. There is even an apple orchard. Behind the accommodation there is a bio garden with vegetables which provides the yearly need of the hotel and its restaurant. Through the garden you come to a forest, which is a great place for a peaceful walk even at night. It’s a perfect place to try one of our chef’s special meals. Enjoy the bio-vegetables from our garden or take a short walk in the orchard. Trips to nearby tourist destinations or participation in traditional folk programs such as a pig slaughter can be organized upon request. Our hotel contains 40 rooms, 12 classified as 2-star accommodations, 28 with 3 stars. The 2-star rooms consist of 6 double and 6 twin rooms, each with a bathroom with shower, a small hall, bed, wardrobe, bedside table, coat rack, chair, plasma TV, telephone and Wi-fi. The 3-star accommodations consist of 7 single rooms, 11 double rooms, 3 rooms furnished with three beds and two apartments. One of the apartments has a bathtub, all other bathrooms have a shower. These accommodations also contain a bed, mirror, table and chair, plasma TV, telephone, bedside table, wardrobe and coat rack. There are hair dryers in the bathrooms. All rooms have internet connections, both wired and wireless. Breakfast is available upon request for € per person, the bar of the hotel is nonstop. Private parking is available with 24/7 camera surveillance. This accommodation is located in the village of Gocs which is 15km from Tagu Mures, 50 km from Praid, 70km from Odorheui Secuiesc, 40km from Sovata and 35km from Sighisoara. In Sovata you can try their thermal baths or ski in winter. Praid is next to Sovata. It's salt mine should not be missed. In Targu Mures you can find historical sites to visit as well as sports, cultural activities, entertainment venues and plenty of opportunities for excursions, for example to destinations like Odorheiu Secuiesc, the hometown of the Seklers (Szekely); Corund, famous for its traditional pottery; the reservoir in Zetea; Sighisoara with Dracula's castle; Killer Lake; the Bicaz gorges; Tusnad Spa; St. Anna Lake; and Balea Lake in Transfagaras. One of the most important destinations may be the balneal and climatic spa of Sovata (6 km away) which is open year round. Here you will find Lake Ursu (Bear Lake) which is a heliothermic lake (very good for swimming). It is the only one of it`s kind in Europe and the largest in the world. The salt water is warmed by heliothermic effect, which provides different temperatures at different depths (19-20C on the surface, 30-40C at 1 m depth, 40-60 C at 1,5-2 m depths). The salt content is 40-250 g/l. It's waters and sapropelic mud are famous for their healing properties. Reputedly, they have been successful in the treatment of rheumatic and gynecological diseases (such as sterility). Treatments for body and soul, year round - in summer bathe in salt water; take an excursion into the natural surroundings to visit lakes and mountains of salt; walk in the medium of nature; or practice the sports of summer (tennis, cycling, etc). In winter, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy winter sports such as skiing. Most ski runs are equipped with ski lifts. Mountain springs, steep rocks and beautiful forests provide you with the opportunity for an unforgettable holiday! Every bathroom is equipped with towels and soap.
