The Vison Measuring System quick image combines the advantages of 2D Vision Measuring with the particular strong points of projector measuring.
The extralarge field of vision (32 x 24 mm) of the QI-A series allows for the complete registration of workpieces at a single glance - according to model selection either featuring repeatability of 1 Aµm or depth of focus of 22mm. The QI-A models are equipped with a high resolution 1.3 megapixel color CMOS camera.

The exceptional depth of focus is achieved by employing a double-telecentric lens system that eliminates all rays of light that are not running parallel to the optical axis thus reducing distortions and providing for fast and easy measuring of workpieces with varying heights or stepped surfaces such as turned parts or cutting tools, rendering recoussing obsolete.

Despite its smaller field of vision (12,8 x 9,6 mm) and the reduced DOF the QI-B series featuring a 0.5x double telecentric lens offfers an even better representation of smallest details combined with almost doubled measuring accuracy compared to the QI-A models.

The top-level software QIPAK installed as a standard feature provides quick image with a maximum variety of analysis functions for repeatable programmable measuring cycles and a high evaluation speed.
Both measuring systems may be operated either with a desktop or notebook type PC for nearly unrestricted mobility.
